Reader Registration

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION AT THE STATE INSTITUTION
“NATIONAL LIBRARY OF TAJIKISTAN”

To become a member of the State Institution “National Library of Tajikistan,” the following documents are required:

• For children and adolescents: a copy of the birth certificate;

• For young adults and adults: a passport (national identification document).

The Reader’s Card is issued to the new member upon payment of the prescribed fee at the cash desk of the Registration Department. The following information about the member is fully recorded in the electronic database of the Registration Department: nationality, place of residence, place of work or study (including faculty), and telephone number.

The Reader’s Card is valid for three years. In the event of loss or damage to the card, a new one will be issued upon the reader’s request, based on the information stored in the Registration Department database, after payment of the prescribed fee.

Registration is free of charge for persons with disabilities and participants in internationalist military campaigns (Afghan war veterans).

Upon registration, the reader undertakes to comply with the “Internal Rules of Conduct for Readers (Citizens) at the National Library of Tajikistan.”
